L Chan's Paint Shop Pro 7 tutorial thingie. To begin, install the program. I'm sure you can figure that one out. Once you are past that point and have done all the restarting crap, open the program. Erm, go to the Start button in the corner and look though the program list for the Jasc folder, or simply double click the desktop icon. PSP7 save something like 32 of your last actions and can undo them all one by one looped arrow right- "Redo" Redoes the last undone action. Scissors- "cut" Cuts a layer, selction, mask, ect that is currently selected two papers, one ontop of the other- "Copy" Copys a layer, selction, ect that is currently selected clipboard and paper- "Paste" Pastes the image, layer, selction, ect either into the current canvas or as a new image sunset picture- "Full Screan Preveiw" Shows the current image against a background colour of your chosing. crossed out magnafying glass- "Normal Veiwing" Ends any zoom you may have on, weither zoomed in or out. wrench- hides or shows the lefthand "Tool Palette" toolbar blue and white rectange- hides or shows the "Tool Options" floating box rainbow palette- hides or shows the "Color Palette" toolbar on the right hand side B&W chart- hides or shows the floating "Histogram Window" red and blue rectangels- hides or shows the floating "Layer Palette" window w/ rectangel- hides or shows the floating "Overview Window" arrow w/ ?- "Help" yeah, click it then click something else. I'm sure need me now. camera- "Screen Capture" starts up the screen capture ... thingie. yeah... kinda like the old PrtScn button. -------------------------- Tool Palette -------------------------- Lefthand side toolbar from top down with visual decriptions first. arrow- "Arrow Tool" Use it as a drag tool magnafying glass- "Zoom Tool" left click to zoom in on an area, right click to zoom out clocklooking box- "Deformation Tool" using the handles and Ctrl and Shift buttons, you can change the shape of a layer box with line across- "Crop Tool" crop image to a new size 4 arrows- "Mover" Moves layer or selection when clicked and draged dotted rectange- "Selection Tool"drag over an area to create a selection lasso- "Freehand Tool" create a selection of a shape of your choosing. wand- "Magic Wand" makes a selection based on content dropper- "Dropper Tool" pick up a color from image. left click for for ground, right click for background paintbrush- "Paintbrush" you can paint with it duel paintbrush- "Clone Tool" right click on image, then use like paint brush to copy that part of the image elsewhere red invading blue rectange- "Color Replacer" select one color as forground, and one as back ground. Pain as if you had the brush and it should only replace the one color. Double click to fill smudge finger- "Retouch Tool" ehhh, retouch the image? Never actually used this tool. heh palette knife- "Scratch Removal Tool" drag over scraches to remove erraser- "Erraser Tool" Removes image data from layer and alows lower image to be seen. on background, uses background color instead inkwell and brush- "Picture Tube" it puts premade stuff on your image. more handy if you create your own. spraypaint- "Airbrush Tool" kinda in the same vain as the brush, but with more air. To do straight lines, use shift key paint bucket- "Flood Fill Tool" Set tolerance and dump color. fun. A- "Text Tool" type some stuff to put in the image pencil- "Drawing Tool" drawimg lines, bezier curve,freehand line and point to point square and circle- "Preset Shape" squares and circles and even speach bubbles are all available to abuse. square w/ arrow- "Object Selector" select objects to molest
